This improvised felted bag is a visualization of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6: to ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. It shows, relative to the size of the bag, the proportion of world population projected to lack access to safely managed drinking water (green, 19%), sanitation (dark orange, 33%), and basic hand hygiene facilities (light orange, 22%) by 2030.  Made for World Water Day 2023, the theme of which was accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis.
