Pathways of Invasion: Research on Aquatic Invasive Species in the Adirondack Park

Join AWI Senior Research Scientist, Dr. Michale Glennon for a presentation of two published research papers: Pathways of Invasion, and Efficacy of Boat Stewards and New York State Regulations at Enhancing Visitor Adoption of Aquatic Invasive Species Spread Prevention Strategies, which detail efforts to understand the impact of aquatic invasive species on Adirondack Waterbodies. In this online, webinar format presentation, learn about the lakes most susceptible to aquatic invasive species spread and how the public is responding to clean, drain, dry initiatives. This event will take place during New York State's Invasive Species Awareness Week, June 3rd-9th.
