2022 Adirondack Harvest Festival

  • Essex County Fairgrounds Westport, NY 12993 United States (map)

Join Michale Glennon, AWI’s Science Director, at the 2022 Adirondack Harvest Festival. Wool and Water, a collaborative data art project that blends fiber art with scientific data to create visual representations of changing water quality conditions in the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain Basin, will be on display. In association with the 50th anniversary of the Clean Water Act, the Paul Smith’s College Adirondack Watershed Institute has embarked on a collaborative fiber arts project supported by the Champlain Valley National Heritage Partnership and the Lake Champlain Basin Program to showcase the legacy of protecting clean water in the Lake Champlain Basin and beyond.

The Adirondack Harvest Festival will return to its one-day, in-person format at the Essex County Fairgrounds. This will be the first time the event has fully returned to the Essex County Fairgrounds for one large in-person event since 2019. The event will follow the same format as past festivals, with a large farmers’ market, local food trucks, local libations tent (beer, mead and wine), demonstrations and talks, kids’ activities, farm animals, and more.

This year’s celebration will include a farmers’ and artisan market, workshops and talks, food trucks, local craft beverages, live music, social and traditional dances, and plenty of kids activities.
