The 2023 Adirondack Lakes Alliance Symposium will be held on Friday, August 11th on the campus of Paul Smith’s College.

The day starts with presentations from Assemblymen Billy Jones and Matt Simpson, as well as Paul Smith's College President Dan Kelting.

Two plenary sessions - this year's "ED Talks" - will have Curt Stager, PhD (Paul Smith's College) and AWI’s Brendan Wiltse, PhD joining us. Dr. Stager will present on his research on ice conditions on our Adirondack lakes, and Dr. Wiltse will present on the increasing presence of Harmful Algal Blooms across the region. The talks are tied together by the climate warming effects we are seeing in the Park.

Breakout sessions will focus on Aquatic Invasive Species Management and on Establishing Partnerships with Local Government, Community and Organizations.
