Thursday, August 10th: Nature Paddle on Lake Everest, 8:30am – 10:30am
Theme: Celebrating Adirondack Waters
Location: Wilmington
Join Ausable River Association Staff for a morning interpretive paddle on Lake Everest as we celebrate Adirondack Water Week. On this trip, we will guide participants through the Ausable Paddling Nature Trail, learning about the history of the region and using our senses to locate and identify birds, insects, fish, and mammals that call the Ausable home. Participants will also learn about invasive species that threaten native plants and wildlife, and how they can take initiative to protect clean water. Canoes or kayaks, paddles, and life jackets will be provided for those who need them.
For questions and to register, please email events@ausableriver.org or call (518) 637-6859.
