Spada Skating Sweater
The Spada Skating Sweater is a record of the skating trips of our good friend, wetland ecologist, and well-known wild ice enthusiast Dan Spada. Dan shared his meticulous records of trips on Champlain and elsewhere and the sweater represents the number of times he skated Lake Champlain for the years 2015 – 2022. The pattern is meant to look like skate tracks on black ice and the number of raised ridges in each vertical section corresponds to the trips for that year.
